The White House Gallery on 26th August 2009, wasn’t relying on only the art to attract nearly 300 guests, it was relying on an exquisite and elite fashion show by Chereen Anderson. MC for the evening was Live Out Loud director, Mike Eilertsen. “Lights, camera, action!” signalled the start of the evening.
The models walked out, the guests were amazed and the runway was lit up by bright flashes from the photographers’ cameras. The models were gorgeous, but there were no words to describe the amazing dresses. Chereen did a spectacular job and the night was enjoyed by all who attended. A painting from the gallery and a dress, made by Chereen, were auctioned off on the evening, in aid of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women and the Selwyn Segal home for the (Jewish) handicapped.
When the show finally came to end, the White House Gallery was open for guests to admire the brilliance behind the art work. Definitely an evening to be remembered.
